The Astrology in Education Coalition exists to support educators during one of the most challenging eras in modern schooling. As teachers navigate an overburdened system and a rapidly evolving generation of learners, we provide a safe place to land, reconnect, and receive guidance rooted in both compassion and cosmic wisdom.
Our mission is to make astrology an accessible, ethical, and practical tool for educators — not one more task on an already full plate, but a source of clarity, calm, and confidence.
We aim to create and offer resources that:
• Support immediately: Simple, usable insights that help teachers understand their students, reduce stress, and strengthen relationships right away.
• Ask little, give much: No overwhelm, no jargon - just grounded, realistic tools that honor a teacher’s time, energy, and lived experience.
• Create safety and belonging: A community where educators, parents, and astrologers can explore ideas, share experiences, and receive encouragement without judgement.

We are a group of professional Astrologers, mothers and educators who care deeply about the future of our children and humanity, believe in the benefits of astrology to support us in all areas of life, including education. Dominique Jaramillo - Astrologer, Nurturing Astrology

Dominique Jaramillo is an astrologer, parenting coach, and educator with over 20 years of formal and self-directed study. Her work centers on supporting women, mothers, and families in conscious growth through astrology, self-awareness, and compassionate practice.
Through a psychological and evolutionary approach to Western Tropical Astrology, Dominique guides clients and communities through life transitions with clarity and care. As the facilitator of the Astrology in Education coalition, she brings together educators, astrologers, and parents to explore ethical, practical, and human-centered ways astrology can support learning and development. Melody Whinnery: Astrologer, Educator

Melody Whinnery is an educator, astrologer, and mother to four neurodivergent teenage and young adult children. Her background includes homeschooling, learning modalities, board game design, and the use of gaming in education, giving her a creative and experiential approach to teaching and learning.
As co-host of the Astrology in Education podcast series, Melody is passionate about astrology as a shared language — one that can foster self-understanding, unity, and bridge-building across differences. She actively collects and develops astrology-based teaching resources, using them for self-reflection and to support her children’s learning in developmentally responsive ways. Danielle Rothschild - Astrologer, Educator, Little Mystic School

Danielle Rothschild is a mother, writer, astrologer, and educator devoted to integrating spiritual wisdom into learning and family life. With over 15 years of study and certifications in yoga, prenatal yoga, meditation, reiki, and astrology, she brings a grounded, holistic approach to teaching and transformation.
An author of three books and creator of accessible courses and resources, Danielle bridges mystical insight with everyday experience. As a founding member of the Astrology in Education coalition, she is especially passionate about supporting children and caregivers through tools that nurture curiosity, connection, emotional awareness, and a sense of wonder.
