Know Thy Self

I had a love of Astrology long before I became a wife or mother. After a hard realization that my dream of becoming a successful actress was going nowhere and yet another relationship had failed devastatingly, I decided to put it all down, get a "real job" and figure myself out. That's when life actually opened up for me; when I surrendered and sat quietly looking within for the answers to life's big questions for me.
I had always been curious about Astrology and decide to take a class to see what I could learn about myself and my path in this crazy life. Boy was my mind blown at the insight offered by this ancient approach to understanding my unique human design, why I am the way I am and why I approach life in the way I do.
And the next level was learning to accept, embrace and love myself with this new validation so I could better navigate life and make choices more aligned with my true desires and purpose and nurturing to my personal nature. This involved a long, active and reflective journey of digging deep into my childhood, origin story, past choices and experiences for reasons and guidance for how to own my story while recognizing I also have the power to write it. It was fast track therapy!
And then once I had a good handle on my unique operating system I could look to see how the current planetary cycles where supporting or challenging me at any given time to step further and further into my true Self and live in a more symbiotic flow with life itself.
Over the many years now I have lived with Astrology as a guiding friend and force I have become more and more trusting in the knowledge as a powerful and nurturing tool for living my best life.
