This Libra New Moon comes with the opportunity of a lifetime. But it will take hard work, will, honesty, an open heart, and a desire to truly evolve.
Here are the questions I see posed by this New Moon. Can we come together and improve our relationships to unify and co-create a civil society we can all co-exist and live in respectfully and freely? Can we stop fighting for one side and instead unite together to fight for the ability to even debate the issues and discover ways we can improve life more fairly for everyone? Answering these questions will take some serious self reflection, personal inquiry and a consideration of perspectives, ideas and beliefs other than our own. The ruler of this Moon is Venus, who is now in intellectually critical Virgo, making a trine to Jupiter in Capricorn and opposing Neptune Rx in Pisces. So making the conscious choice to be slower to judge, less reactive, willing to work with others to resolve conflicts and open to getting creative to find ways to manage our work, society and connections with more compassion could certainly support better outcomes. This may be easier said than done, but with the New Moon making positive aspect to the North Node in Gemini I think even just starting the conversation can inspire hope and possibilities. Nothing worth having comes easy and letting go of old useless habits, patterns, thinking and limiting beliefs is scary. And Mars Rx in Aries still squaring the Capricorn counsel of Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn is definitely not making it any easier. The challenges are real and with Mercury now retrograde in Scorpio all decisions are feeling like life or death, proving just how high the stakes are in these changing times. I'd like to pass on some great advice I received recently from the amazing Astrologer Adam Gainsburg. He was speaking to this week’s Mars Rx in Aries opposition to the Libra Sun which is exact a couple of days before this New Moon. It is a very significant part of the larger 2 year cycle of Mars we are all in right now, and is the halfway point, which he calls, the Transcendence Phase. He says what is being called for now in order for us to truly and positively progress, as individuals and collectively, is for us to wake up, stop fighting for one side, which only strengthens division, and do the inner work to face our own fears of loosing our identity, security and personal life meaning. This is not an easy task for sure, because by no means is transformation and transcendence an easy or fun process. But it is a journey worth going on if you truly want to have more authentic relationships and live a more fulfilling and free life. So since Libra is the sign that pulls focus from ourselves toward the consideration of others for the purpose of refining our connections, seeking more fairness, harmony and cooperation and co-creating more perfect unions, I couldn't help but feel that this insight would be useful information and inspiration when setting intentions for this Libra New Moon. Let's co-create in order to be able to more happily and freely co-exist. Nurture the Nature - for your well Being!
